So if we deliberately ignore that Oxford is a product of the class system and PPE at Oxford is a product of the class system and is designed to attract people who are products and later enforcers of the class system, then PPE is just an ordinary university degree course; if PPE were the same course taught at Poppleton Community College it would not have the faults that might be "the faults of the sort of people who choose to do PPE at Oxford". This makes me feel sorry for actually-existing PPE at Oxford :-).
